Merry Christmas . . .

Forever Dusk

A setting sun,
her colors bold,
cast light and dark
reflections cold
upon the early winter sky . . .

The evening dimmed,
this Holy eve,
called my witness
I believe,
to eternity before my very eyes . . .

As darkness fell
but never quite,
my soul was greeted
by the sight
of crescent blue
and silent misty veil . . .
